Broadcaster 2: that sounds good, today we are going to talk aboutthe biggest rock festival in Chile. (Cumbre del rock Chileno)

Broadcaster 2: ok we are back and we want to introduce ourguests.

Broadcaster 1: we have Juan Andres Ossandon and Claudia Orvenes, the organizers of this festival. Claps please! jajajajjaAjjaja.

Broadcaster 2: welcome to the program!!! We are so happy that you are here. How are you?

JO: Good! Very enthusiastic for this festival.

CO: and of course Juan for being here! Thanks for the invitation to your program.

Broadcaster 2: thanks for coming,it is also a pleasure.

Broadcaster 1: Ok let’s go straight to the point. When did the Cumbre del Rock Chileno start?

JO: who? You or me? Ok ladies first jajajajjaja!

CO: La cumbre del rock chileno started with the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of Chilean Rock music. The idea is to show that we also have high quality music in Chile and that is what we want to demonstrate tothe world. It is also a great opportunity for emerging bands to show that they make good music too.

Broadcaster 2: Well, you contributed to helping the Chilean music and even better, in creating a huge festival with current bands and obviously for the public.

JO: exactly! ( We helped to create an enjoyable time at the festival where you not only enjoy the music, but also Chilean activities.Broadcaster 2: mmmmm interesting and, in what way was the line-up of la cumbre del rock chileno created?

JO: ammmm, well it’s difficult. The line-up was created thinking of the variety of Chilean Rock Groups and what the public enjoys. We analyzed the well-known bands of the year and also took polls so that everyone would feel satisfied with the line-up.

Broadcaster 2: Does this eventlong to be a big festival such as Lollapalooza or Maquinaria?

CO: Well, if we compare it with other festivals like those, it is almost impossible to match up as we are focused only on our Chilean bands. (interruption of JO)

JO: Yes… but however, we do have the desire for our festival to be similar in quality and that it is seen as a great festival by the Chilean people.

Broadcaster 1:remember dear radio listener that your opinion is important for us. Here there are some twitters. I’ll read it

1.- It hasn’t anything of rock music, it is just a Chilean music festival, if I find a cheap ticket , I would go just to waste my time.
2.- Rock? I don’t see it in anywhere, just are sons of someone of always
3.- Los bunkers are the best chilean band, I’m just going there forthem! I mean there are good bands too such as Camila Moreno, Manuel Garcia, De saloon, so on so forth. I’m counting the days to go and stay in pole position.

The polemic about how much rock music was there is irrelevant for me, what I think that is more relevant is the big failure to carry lesspeople (20.000), when last presentations easily exceeded 50.000 people in “Estadio Nacional” and Club Hipico de Santiago. I hope that organizers take this opinion and realize the real level of this festival.
