Introducción
El Arte Sonoro se compone de distintas prácticas que asocian lo visual o espacial con el sonido que nace al poder disponer de altavoces,amplificadores, reproductores de sonido, emisores, etc. para poderlos unir a desarrollos en el dominio de la luz, de la proyección o de los generadores digitales para crear esas nuevas prácticas que permitan una nueva forma de mirar, escuchar o estar.
El artista
Rainer Krause es un artista sonoro y plástico nacido en Alemania, que ha desarrollado su trabajo como profesor de artesplásticas en Chile. Su trabajo se basa en exposiciones de arte sonoro colectivas o individuales tanto en Europa como en Latino América. Pertenece a la nueva generación de artistas sonoros, que se caracteriza por haber contribuido definitivamente a la consolidación de un campo en Chile para el Arte Sonoro.
