Questions for students who live on campus

1) What are the advantages of living on campus?
The greatest advantage of on campus living in myopinion is all the liberty that will be given to you. On campus living also gives you a lot of opportunity to get to know, as well as live with different peopleof cultures that one may never be fully exposed to- unless, of course you live on campus.
2) What kind of obstacles do you run into while living oncampus?
The biggest obstacle that I experience while living on campus is getting used to the food (I was a little home sick and I missed my moms cooking.)3) About how much money do you save on gas while living on campus? What is the cost of room and board?
I do not own a car yet so I did not have tosave money for gas. The cost of room and board for my first two semesters was about $4500.00 plus a meal plan that cost about $1500.00. (Don’t worry aboutthe cost of room and board most of the time financial aid takes care of everything- and if that does not work don’t be afraid of school loans, that you willeventually pay six months after graduation.)
4) Does living on campus make it easier or harder for you to focus on your school assignments? Why?Living on campus made it a lot easier for me to focus on my school work, I was able to do my work whenever I was ready and not when I was forced by my parents.Another advantage of living on campus is the fact that you may live close to a classmate, which of course helps when you need additional homework help.
