Autobiography

Basketball has become one of the most important things in my life. I’m the first child my parents had. The got married and they waited fortwo years and then they had me. Then my brother, Adrian, was born and seven years ago my little sister, Valeria. Since I was a little kid I loved sports.I was always running and playing; I was a very active child. At the age of five I remember receiving my first basketball. But this was just the beginning.At first I just played because I liked it, but as I grew up I noticed it was more than that for me. Basketball has thought me things that nobody else could.Teamwork, trusting your teammates, the meaning of true friendship; are the things that during my life, basketball has marked in my personality. Basketballis like having to present a test everyday; on the court you show what you’ve been learning during practice time. Pass the ball, be confident, and trust everysingle member of your team. You don’t learn this on school. Basketball for me is a practice of what life has for you in the future. This is why basketballis so important for me, its not just a game, time has passed and now, Basketball has become a part of me.
