2- Oasis:
Oasis is an English rock band that was formed in Manchester in 1991. Thegroup was formed by Liam Gallagher (vocal and tambourine), Paul Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass guitar) and Tony McCarroll (drums and percussion), who left the band in August 2009.Oasis come from an earlier band called The Rain, Liam suggested that the bands name should be changed to Oasis. This change was inpired by Inspiral Carpets tour posters which hung in theGallagher brother’s bedroom.
Oasis played their first live gig in August 1991 at the Boardwalk club in Manchester. This group had their first UK number 1 in April 1995 with “Some MightSay”.
