Mexico made it big for the TV news some years ago with a huge earthquakethat destroyed several neighborhoods leaving broken families with deep sorrow and dreams that couldn’t be fulfilled. As usually when a disaster hits a developing latinamerican country like mine,amongst the smell of death that lasted several months came out a huge desire to reconstruct the city and the heart of the broken society that was left the morning after. We are known for the superbhability that we have to overcome difficulties, it may be a broken machine that needs to be fixed without the resources to buy a new one, it may be …… We maybe an underdeveloped country but what we reallyhave developed strongly is the hability to overcome disaster, to unite efforts and work together when the goal is high but the passion to reach it is enraizada en nuestro corazón.
If we, as a countryare strong enough to change the political party that reigned over 70 years we can make history in the health issues , too.

We did it, we changed the government at last! We do believe in democracyand faithfully demonstrated the world that we deserved a much better government that we had before, we can decide who we want to govern our Mexico.
The same year that we made history changing ourgovernment, we started Kardias with the only aim of changing things for the CHD children and families that had no economical resources to pay for a heart surgery. As in many other parts of ourcivilized planet, heart surgeries are very expensive and are usually done in private hospitals. For poor children this access is denied. Our families have no medical insurance, no social security and...
