Introduction
It is hard to measure now days what’s good, or not good, for you in terms of food. With our hectic life, time us a huge factor in deciding what to eat. Between getting ready to leavethe house, taking the kids to school, getting to work on time and everything in between, trying to find something healthy to eat becomes less of a priority. Trying to look and feel good is not a matterof only eating the right types of food, but finding the time to learn what and when to eat.
We are bombarded by three elements; first society, second the pressure to always be fit and look good, andlast the big challenge of all those fast foods on the way home that just make it easier for us and save us time, that leave us with no options but to choose between them. So the question becomes, FastFood, or have the family wait until I cook food for all of them?
It was registered that the first Fast Food in NYC was in 1912.

Today, worldwide well known fastfood chains are McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King, and Domino’s Pizza. In 2010, McDonald’s had 32,737 registered restaurants all over the world. These are very important facts for this essay, as itis the reason why we are always surrounded by their publicity and commercials, and we are convinced it is easier to buy their food because of time constraint.
Fast food by definition is that whichyou can buy in an easy and fast way, to consume at the moment. The advantage is that by nature, it is already cooked and packed so for those with tight schedules and short of time, it is an easy wayout. Also, they are easy to carry and don’t have the hassle of dishes at home. Now a days you can find ready to eat food at supermarkets, for which you only need a microwave and that’s it.
For thosefamilies with kids, the time once you get home is to focus on the kids and homework, and not on cooking. So again, the decision to stop at a fast food restaurant is fast and easy. Or even call for...
