THE MAYAS ECONOMY AND CULTURE:
The Maya’s economy was based on farming, principally in corn. This civilization started trading from different towns by river, and they did notcount with any kind of money nor cash, so they just exchanged with different needments.
The Mayas had other ways to survive; they also hunted, gathered, fished, and domesticated animals to use theirmilk, and their meat.
As I said before, the Mayas focused everything with their religion, so they were constantly scarifying people to offer them to the gods to have a good crop.
The Mayas werebasically born in Mesoamerica, witch is today known as Central America, more specifically by Mexico, Honduras and Nicaragua, but their capital was in Mexico, Teotihuacán, what today is Mexico City.
