During this rotation Dr. SONIA BLANCO MEJIA was required to perform daily rounds accompanied by an Internal Medicineprofessor or assistant in order to evaluate inpatients. Her duties required her to prepare a detailed report for each patient of the attending physician in charge of the set rotation. During on call she wasrequired to evaluate patients and notify the attending physician of any inconveniences.

Pediatrics:
Dr. SONIA BLANCO MEJIA was responsible for the evaluation of newborns along with theneonatologist within the O.R. and delivery room. Her duties included reporting to the Nursery for ‘completion of evaluation’ and ‘follow up’ of the patients up to point of discharge. As well, she was required...
