Thanks to technological advances and the modernizations of the medicine we have today many techniques and treatments to heal injuries or delay symptoms of disease. One of these techniques that thedoctors frequently used is the surgery. That has been modified through the passage of the years.

Surgery is an ancient medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental techniques on apatient. To investigate or treat a pathological condition such as disease or injury. Or in other cases is use to help improve bodily function or appearance. As a general rule, a procedure is consideredsurgical when it involves cutting of a patient's tissues or closure of a previously sustained wound. For realize this practice the doctors need to use sterile environment, anesthesia, antisepticconditions, typical surgical instruments, and suturing or stapling. This type of technique is performed in an operating room that usually is located in a hospital.

This medical technique hasdifferent categorized by urgency, type of procedure, body system involved, degree of invasiveness, and special instrumentation. Depending on the affected body area. Some of these are the: Exploratory surgery,amputation, plastic surgery, transplant surgery, reconstruction surgery among other. In the exploratory surgery the doctors explore the organs to confirm or to make a diagnostic of a seriousillness. That is dispersed throughout all the body or is beginning in a specific organ. The amputation surgery is practiced when the area of the body is too much affected or destroyed that it can’t be savedbecause it can affect other parts of the body that are healthy. The Plastic surgery is practiced when someone wants to fix some parts of the body or if a person has a serious accident and needs areconstruction of one or more parts of the body.
