Cristóbal Colón (disputed place, c. 1436-14561-Valladolid, Spain, 20 may 1506) was a Navigator, cartographer, Admiral, Viceroy and Governor general of India in the service of theCrown of Castile, famous for having done the so-called discovery of America in 1492.
