MEMENTO
This movie made me think about a lot of things, it confused me and incredibly made me doubt about my own memory, in the other hand the guywas sick and he couldn’t remember his short-term memory, so at the end you realize that at some point he decided to lie to be happy, to have something to do and be someone.
Althoughthe movie started with the end while with like an alternative story of what really was happening, and in some moment this two would join, it didn’t confuse me until the end whenLeonard according to him the most trustable things that he had were his notes, photos and tattoos but you realize that these things were not true and that makes me think of the goodpart of don’t remember what you don’t want, although unwilling or could not store memories anymore, and invent or create a better way to improve your life but it didn’t help toLeonard because he kill innocents and lost his identity, he remembered things that according to him had happened and even doubted of his memories and when those doubts come he preferredto hide the truth it was and continue with something that he felt like “a life”
I think the big problem of Leonard is that at the end of the movie but the beginning of the storyafter the accident that he had, he wanted to take revenge of the murder of his wife and then he get obsessed and forget all that he did and think that this wont happened and then whenhe discovered it, he only wanted to do something so create his life as he wants, and other problem that he had was Natalie because she took advantage of him and convinces andpersuaded him and she never told him the truth.
