Our mother is the sweetest andMost delicate of all.She knows more of paradiseThan angels can recall.
She's not only beautifulBut passionately young,Playful as a kid, yet wiseAs one who has lived long.
Her love is like the rush of life,A bubbling, laughing springThat runs through all like liquid lightAnd makes the mountains sing. And makes the meadows turn to flowerAnd trees to choicest fruit. She is at once the field and bowerIn which our hearts take root.
She is at once the sea and shore,Our freedom and our past. With her we launch our daring shipsYet keep the things that last.
A WONDERFUL MOTHER.
GOD made a wonderful mother,A mother who never grows old;He made her smile of the sunshine,And He molded herheart of pure gold;In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,In her cheeks, fair roses you see;God made a wonderful mother,And He gave that dear mother to me.
A MOTHER'S LOVE
A Mother's love is somethingthat no on can explain,It is made of deep devotionand of sacrifice and pain,It is endless and unselfishand enduring come what mayFor nothing can destroy itor take that loveaway . . .It is patient and forgivingwhen all others are forsaking,And it never fails or falterseven though the heart is breaking . . .It believes beyond believingwhen the world around condemns,And it glows with all the beautyof the rarest, brightest gems . . .It is far beyond defining,it defies all explanation,And it still remains a secretlike the mysteries of creation . . .A many splendouredmiracleman cannot understand
And another wondrous evidenceof God's tender guiding hand.

How did you find the energy, MomTo do all the things you did,To be teacher, nurse and counselorTo me, when I was a kid.
How did you do it all, Mom,Be a chauffeur, cook and friend,Yet find time to be a playmate,I just can’t comprehend.
I see now it was love, MomThat made youcome whenever I'd call,Your inexhaustible love, MomAnd I thank you for it all.

A Sonnet for My Incomparable Mother
I often contemplate my childhood, Mom.I am a mother now, and so I knowHard work is mixed together with the fun;You learned that when you raised me long ago.
I think of all the things you gave to me:Sacrifice, devotion, love and tears,Your heart, your mind, yourenergy and soul--All these you spent on me throughout the years.
You loved me with a never-failing loveYou gave me strength and sweet security,And then you did the hardest thing of all:You let me separate and set me free.
Every day, I try my best to beA mother like the mom you were to me.

THANK YOU MOM (Lyrics & Music: Good Charlotte) I'm sitting here, I'mthinking back to a time when I was young, My memory is clear as day, I'm listening to the dishes clink, You were downstairs; you would sing songs of praise, And all the times we laughed with you, And all the times that you stayed true to us, Now we say, I said, I thank you, I'll always thank you, More than you could know, Than I could ever show, And I love you, I'll always love you, There's nothing Iwon't do to say these words to you, That you're beautiful forever, You were my mom, You were my dad, The only thing I ever had was you, It's true, And even when the times got hard you were there, To let us know that we'd get through, you showed me how to be a man, You taught me how to understand the things people do, You showed me how to love my God, You taught me that not everyone knows thetruth, And I thank you, I'll always thank you, More than you could know, Than I could ever show, And I love you, I'll always love you, There's nothing I won't do to say these words to you, That you will live forever, always
I Want a Mom(Album: Unknown; Artist: Cyndi Lauper)I want a mom that will last foreverI want a mom to make it all betterI want a mom that will last foreverI want a mom who love...
