1. Mr. Botibol represented a giant asparagus, due to the fact of his body, because he was a person who had a lot of overweight and he looked like aperson who did not have shoulders because of his fatness, and he also felt lonely, since he was alienated from society in this story.
2. Mr. Botibol is not used todrinking wine, he drinks very little of it. As we can see in this short story the wine goes straight to Mr. Botibol´s head, he becomes melancholic when he speaks to Mr.Clements and his cheeks start to go flush, his eyes also go bright and watery.
3. Referring Mr. Botibol to the text, we can say that his three stages in his “performances”are composed by: in first place, a Piano Concerto; in second place, a performance which had been produced by Howitz (Emperor Concerto); in third place, a performanceof Schnabel, which he would like to do.
4. In this short story we can observe that the butler Mason is surprised of the new Mr. Botibol, he feels shaken and morecontrolled towards Mr. Botibol, because from this moment in the story Mr. Botibol is doing his life, without his butler´s opinion and judgement.
5. As we can see in thisshort story, there is obviously evidence of Mr. Botibol and Miss Darlington good relation. They have together a big passion towards music, and especially the piano.
