My First Trip

Sometimes we can not imagine how interesting and exciting it can be to travel with your family to places you do not know. I lived that experience four years ago, when I was fifteen.My family and I went to visit some islands of the Lesser Antilles. The reason for the trip was to celebrate my teenager. Today I could say that the most memorable event of my life so far was when Iwent on a cruise with my family.
When I was 12 I told my dad that if he wanted to give me a big gift when I had 15 years, the gift I wanted was a trip in cruise. For a moment I thought it was alittle selfish, because most of the girls when they have 15 want to have a big party. But I decided that my gift was different, because I am a little shy and I do not like the protocol to be performedin teenagers, for example, that all the people look at you when you walk with your dress or when you dance with your father. My parents agreed that it was my desire and not theirs or my other familymembers. Having we never before traveled on cruise and I think it was the best gift I could have chosen.
The first day of the trip, when we were on route to San Juan we stopped in San Germán, becausethere we were going to get a bus together with a group of 50 people who were also going to traveling on cruise. My brother and I were very excited and we really anxious to explore the cruise. Whenwe enter immediately went to our room, left our bags and went to see the shops, the pools, the skating rink, the restaurant and others. Later I went to see Puerto Rico from the sea, and stand on thetip of the cruise and open my arms to receive the wind like Rose in the Titanic movie. On Aruba, we could learn a little about their culture, attractions and landscapes. Undoubtedly the most I likein Aruba was "the famous cheese" they sell.
