My Very First Journey
Long time ago in June 1997, I was living in Bogota the capital of my native countryColombia, this city is located at 2600 meters above sea level which means very far from the ocean, I was in summer vacations so my mother decided to take my sister and I to an incredible place call SanAndres and Providence, this paradise island was located in the Caribbean ocean and is about five hours from the capital in airplane. I was really very excited; this was my very first journey.
I mustsay that I love the sea; it is the most fun, beautiful, exciting, and unique element in the whole world. However this was not the first time I had an encounter with the sea, my father was born in thecost, therefore I visited a couple of time his native town. But this time was different, for those who do not know, the San Andres beaches are very famous because they have 7 different colors,therefore everyone call them the sea of the seven colors. Off course this is the principal attraction but just one of many.
In this island I found the Morgan’s cave, one frightening but magical place whichallowed me to play with my infinite imagination of child, thanks to the stories told by the tour guide of the place. According to historian; Morgan was a fearsome pirate who used the cave to hideships and treasures that departed from South America bound to Puerto Rico and Europe. Right after the cave we headed east, where we find a natural wonder, the natives call it “the blower hole”, as itsname say is a hole in a huge rock right next to the ocean, which somehow is connected to the sea and because the pressure it makes the water come out strong enough to make it fun to play.
Last but notleast, I remembered taking the best coconut juice in the whole planet. It was a place call Jonny Key, a small island located about 15 minutes in a bout from San Andres. In this part I saw something...
