Symptom
You find the following syslogentry:
F3V Error 28 for write/read access to a file.
File=/usr/sap//SYS/global/001JOBLG/0001X05001702X70429 even though
enough memory is available in thefile system.

Cause and prerequisites
There has been no more free memory space in the file system, however, the
jobs continue toterminate with the error mentioned above. On several
instances, the jobs may run without problems on the individual instances.
The name(s) of the job logs may remainthe same.
Due to the fact that the file system is full, a file having the length 0 is
generated in the directory.The inode entry required for this generallycan
be created without problems.
However, the job log number is still marked as free in the R/3 System.As a
result, the system continuously attempts to createa job log with this
number.At times of a high background workload it may happen that the
execution is partially successful due to the simultaneous starting ofjobs.
In rare cases, the process does not note the generated storage space and
continues to write the error message. You should restart the respectiveprocesses.
Solution
Delete the job log file having the length 0.
After this, you should make a consistency check according to Note in order
to correct allinconsistencies.
