Queen
Beatrix (Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard; born 31 January 1938) is the queen regnant of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
She is the first daughter of Queen Julianaof the Netherlands and Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld. She studied law at Leiden University. In 1966, she married Claus von Amsberg, with whom she had three children: PrinceWillem-Alexander (born 1967), Prince Friso (born 1968), and Prince Constantijn (born 1969).
Religion
Today Roman Catholicism is the largest religion in the Netherlands, the formation of the religious house of some 26.3%of the Dutch against 40 percent in the 1970s. The number of Catholics is not only decreasing, but many people who identify themselves as Roman
Catholics also do not regularly attend Sunday mass.Currency
The Netherlands' currency is the Euro. It was formerly the Guilder.
