Past perfect

-> talk about past event (habla de eventos pasados)
-> this is the first thing that happened (esta es la primera cosa que pasó)

Ejemplo :

• I called her at10ºº , I met her at 11ºº .. (la llame a las 10 y me reuní con ella a las 11)
• After i had called her, I met her (después de que me había llamado me encontré con ella)

Se reconoce usando:• yet (aun)
• already (ya)
• just (justo, recien)

Simple past

-> talk about a past event (habla de un suceso pasado)
-> this began and finished (esto comenzó y terminó)-> this is the second thing that happened (es la segunda cosa que ocurrió)

Ejemplo:

• They gave him money and then, he left (se le dió el dinero y luego se fue)
• after they hadgiven him money, he left. (después de darle el dinero se fue)

• i had lunch when you come in (yo comía cuando tu entraste)
• y queda: after I had had lunch you come in (después de que comíentraste)

Se reconoce usando:
• last (algo del pasado)
• then (luego)
• when(cuando)
• before (antes)
