A pie is a food preparation composed of a thin bread dough and yeast pastry or puff pastry stuffed with any food salty or sweet. It can be meat or fruit. Usually made with wheat, but can bemade from corn and other cereals, and sometimes with the addition of some fat, like oil or butter. It is a food made by most food cultures of the Hispanic countries.

Pie stuffed witha cheese mixture, cornstarch or wheat flour, milk and salt, washed with a little cayenne pepper on top and baked. It's eaten hot and usually accompanied by Api thus constituting a traditionalbreakfast in La Paz, Oruro and other cold areas of western Bolivia.

Colombian
In big cities in Colombia, located to the center of the country, can not miss in cafeterias,convenience stores and cafes, some kind of pie to accompany a cup of coffee or a soda bottle. In recent times have become a form of fast food alternative to heavier menus, delayed and costly lunch orsnack. However their nutritional value has not been studied.
