By following Matsushita’s principles, Panasonic Corporation has grown to become one of the largest electronic product manufacturers in theworld. Its successful expansion, comprising over 680 companies, illustrates the effectiveness of Panasonic’s strategy. Through its avant guardian endeavours to revolutionize the electronics market,and the business trend with its recent ‘eco ideas’ strategy, Panasonic has demonstrated to be a dominant global player in almost all matters. This has therefore disperted a great interest and curiosityon my part, when faced with the eventuality of joining the Panasonic family in the marketing sector.
Having chosen International Business & Management as my main course in university, this hasenabled me to expand my knowledge breadth as regards to how multi-nationals such as Panasonic manage to create a uniform image globally. This excites me because having lived in six different countries andworked in the fashion business, both as a model and as an agency promoter, not only have I acquired a taste for commercial marketing but have gained precious time management skills. Having to managemeetings, projects and events, I grew to comprehend the intricate yet astronomical relevance of marketing in any given industry.
