PERSONAL FITNESS PROGRAM

My name is . I am 22 years old, my weight is 204 pounds and my height is 5’6. According to this data my Body Mass Index (BMI) is 33 which indicate that I am an obeseperson. However, I am going to create a personal fitness program that requires the participation of at least 3 main fitness components which are; cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance andflexibility. Based on my doctor’s suggestions I should create a balance between the consumption of macronutrients and micronutrients. Especially the macronutrients which mainly include carbohydrates, fats,proteins and water which are required in maximum quantities for the body because are the main source of energy. However, the micronutrients as well as macronutrients are essential for the body with theonly different that these are required in minimum amount these are the vitamins and nutrients such as; sodium and cooper.
My food pyramid indicates me that I have to increase the diet in vegetables,fruits and grains. I should consume more dark green and orange-red vegetables and fruits which are rich in Vitamin A helps to improve the role in eye function and protects against infections, VitaminC increase the process and function of cells to keep them together, Vitamin K helps blood to clot and Vitamin B6 is needed to maintain normal hemoglobin; the one which carries oxygen to the tissues,also vegetables are good source of antioxidants. I also should increase the intake of milk; based on my food pyramid I have to drink 3 cups of milk per day which will fulfill me with the Vitamin D. TheVitamin D is the one responsible for the care of my bones and teeth, also works as a good protector against sunlight protecting the skim. I have to drink at least 8 cups of water per day. The wateris the one that makes the body work by filtrating and helping the body to digest in a better way. However, I can also get water from fruits and milk.
