Prayer in public schools

Since a few years ago, there has been a big interest in discussing whether the sentence of praying should be allowed in public schools as animportant factor in the moral development of individuals. And it is believed that prayer could be an effective tool to combat, the general conditions of public schools, such as drugs, teenage pregnancy,crime, abuse and maltreatment by bullies, among many others. But could this measure to change the mentioned problems, and what benefits it would bring? What is the difference between private schools andpublic schools in terms of behavior? What are the problems that we could present to this subject? These are factors to consider when we are analyzing this issue.

Is believed to strengthen thespiritual character of the individual through prayer and self-reflection, might encourage the student, tolerance, and sense of kindness and compassion. So I think that this could be an effective measureagainst the abuse that some students receive in public schools. Promoting values ​​that influence psychologically on the student.

Foment prayer; it would be also promote religion, so it might bebeneficial to prevent early pregnancies, because religion often promotes sexual abstinence until marriage stage. And also allow the student to observe and think about their problems.

To see if thiscould be true, we should make a comparison between public and private schools, where religion is instituted now.

According to NCES (National Center for Education Statistics). In private schools thebug reports have been lower, thanks to their religious system, by the establishment of strong moral values ​​through prayer, by which the student must be guided, thus avoiding problems of any kind.
