Data is transmitted as fast as 1 pressure measurement every 4 seconds with 1/2-psi resolution.Formation pressure measurements can be taken with either pumps on or pumps off. Key points during test sequences are calculated and recorded into memory. Key points can be transmitted at the end of thetest sequence (real time) or once communication is established with the tool (near time). High resolution 32-bit samples at 5 samples per second. The mud pulse telemetry system allows for up to18-bit-per-second data transmission. Flexible operations—Downlink Commander (DLC™) can control pad setting parameters, drawdown parameters, and tool operation parameters. Operator can pre-select the pressuretransducer range for maximum accuracy (15 kpsi, 25 kpsi, or 30 kpsi). High precision quartz transducer sensor accuracy is ±0.02% full scale. Available with either standard drawdown capability of5,000-psi drawdown and a 40-cc maximum drawdown volume or high differential capability of 10,000-psi drawdown and a 20-cc maximum drawdown volume. Intelligent operations—The PressureWave tool can be set tocontrol all sampling using downhole algorithms. The tool “learns” from test to test, working to minimize time on station.
