STAGE 1 THEME: Street Market
STAGE 2 FINAL TASK (for the end of the unit):
At the end of the unit students will carry out the following task, after doing thepreliminary work specified in Stage 5. The students will prepare their ideal menu and they’ll add prices to it.
Once having their menus ready, they’ll collect all of them and they’ll form one bookwhich will be the 5th grade’s restaurant’s menu. This book will be shown to the whole class.
Context: Imagine you work for the restaurant of 5th grade and you have to prepare a menu for it.Your menu will be part of the menu’s book and it will be shown to the whole class.
STAGE 3 OBJECTIVES: During the unit the students will develop ability and knowledge necessary to:
✓Express existence
✓ Express location of objects and places
✓ Acquire new vocabulary items
✓ Ask questions to locate objects and places
