Quality Manager

Automotive Company is seeking Quality Control Manager. OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:To continuously develop, implement, and support a plant and corporate Quality policy and system that meets or exceedsthe customer expectations, corporate and plant goals defined to pursue World Class manufacturing excellence. To manage the area activities and resources that interact with the environmental aspectsin compliance with the applicable Quality and Manufacturing instructions. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:- Four year Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or equivalent discipline.-English 80%. EXPERIENCE:- “Hands-on” manufacturing background.- Project and time management. - Mexico manufacturing.- ISO/TS 16949 Quality SystemRequirements.- Plastic interior components manufacturing process, Injected or molded parts process.MAIN ACTIVITIES:- To participate in and support the development andimplementation of the corporate Quality policy and goals in a manner that represents World Class manufacturing.- To provide the plant and corporation with the leadership, communication and supportnecessary for its representation as a professional company to the customer and community.- To support the corporate and plant Continuous Improvement process and cost reduction goals.-To provide internal and external customer with a quick response to all issues.- To communicate issues to the plant in a timely and accurate manner.- To communicate withthe other corporate functions as necessary to assist with their activities and goals.- To facilitate and support the problem resolution process that focuses on quick responseand resolution of issues through the 8’Ds problem solving process concentrating on addressing the Escape, Corrective and Preventive Actions to prevent recurrence.- To actively support all...
