BULLYING
I will talk abour bulling because is a great problem that is happening in many schools and many other places. I started to define the word: “"A long-standing violence, physical orpsychological, conducted by an individual or a group and directed against an individual who is not able to defend himself in the actual situation.” (Roland, 1989, p.143).
The nature of bullying can vary.Some school bullying is physical, but it can also be verbal or psychological, directo r indirect bullying, it includes social violence. The techonology plays an important roll nowday, because somepeople the internet, cell phones, cameras, etc., to abuse others. Most of the time there is a leader in a group who incítate others to bother a person humiliating him, social exclusión. This leaderincítate the rest of the group in different ways to hurt the victim.
These days, parents, teachers, child psychologists and educational autorities are now worried because the problem has been growing andare trying to combat the problem, whether it is physical violence, threats of violence, verbal abuse or just socially isolating a victim.
It is a great job because they should have a greatcommunication, first teachers to detect the problema inside the classroom, parents to be alert in the conduct of his child, the principals ins schools having programs for the students to prevent this. But mostof all we need to have teachers interest and want to know, how this problema can affect the student´s life.
First of all, as previously noted, teachers may learn about bullying through ratherinformal mechanisms such as their own life experiences, through seeking out and reading materials about the problem, or by attending workshops and presentations devoted to the subject of bullying. In amore formal capacity, however, teachers may acquire knowledge through schools’ adoptions of bullying prevention programs.
