Hi kids nice to meet you, I’m very glad to be here community. My name is Michelle Jairala I’m part of the UNESCO. What do we do? Try to convert the world in a world of peace and security througheducation, science, culture and communications and there are a few things I would like to tell you.

Now a days all the communities live in harmony together, like yours or the ones practiced in thecity, we all respect the decisions people have made or the traditions they represents in their ways of living.

You as a Shuar community kids, have to be proud of what you are, there are a few meanpeople like you in the world, but no one should judge you because of what you represent.

Why people must respect the Shuar Kids? Because you are really in touch with nature, have the most uniquetraditions and people should be jealous of what they have. No matter your culture, ethnic or how much money your parents have.

I know that I cant tell for sure, what is happening in the world but what Iknow is this, no one should be afraid of who they are or where do they come from.

Everybody have different traditions or way of living, but that doesn’t make us different, we still are humanbeings the only things that matter are the decisions I make and the way I choose to live my life, and if you do what you believe, there is no reason why you should be afraid of what people may or may notthink of you.

Now you have to pass this on in your community, friends and family. Let them know how proud you are. Spread the word and let the world know that you are not afraid of being what youare, that you are no longer attempting to hide whom you are.

For now an on don’t worry about what people can say about you, the do it because they don’t really know you. I understand about it, byknowing your families and the real meaning and purity of your culture.
