SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES (STD’s)

Everyday people from all over the world die from Sexually Transmitted Diseases or best know as STD’s. Some people know what are STD’s and how to prevent them , and other people don’t know what are STD’s and how to prevent them. This issue is something that everyone in earth should know to prevent future diseases.
When people hear for the first timeSTD’s, they ask themselves what is it, or what could it be. STD’s or Sexually transmitted Diseases are infections that can be transferred from one person to another through sexual contact. STD’s are spread through sexual contact, and the exchange of body fluids. Some STD’s can also be transmitted by using a needle after its use by an infected person. Even it can be contract through childbirthor breastfeeding as well. Anyone who is sexually active can contract an STD.
Most STD’s don't show symptoms, so you can have, spread and even contract an STD without even knowing it, but there are a few STD’s that show some symptoms and they depend of the kind of STD that a person have. This symptoms include itching around the vagina, severe yeast, pain during sex, sore throats in people whohave had oral sex, pain in the anus for people who have had anal sex, painless red sores on the genital area, a scaly rash on the palms of your hands and soles of your feet, small blisters that turn into scabs on the genital are, fever, body aches, unusual infections, unexplained fatigue, night sweats and weight loss. This are a few of the symptoms that can show up in people who have STD’s. Thissymptoms can transform in another illness which can kill you.
Each year 9 million new cases of STD’s occur among young people aged 15-24. Sexually active youth have the highest STD rates on any age group in the country. Also the U.S. has the highest STD rates of any country in the world By age 25, one half of all sexually young people get an STD. Also, young people are at greatest risk forSTDs because they are more likely to have unprotected sex and more than one sex partner. Like adults, many teenagers lack awareness of STD’s. Also, more that half of all sexually active teens have never discussed STD’s with their partner. This are some of the things that we have to think about because some STD’s are not incurable.
The best way to prevent getting a STD is to not have sex. Thereare many other ways to be intimate in a romantic relationship without having sex. Try massaging, cuddling, or kissing.
If you do decide to have sex, you should have sex with only one partner who only has sex with you and who has never injected drugs. The more partners you have, the greater risk of being exposed to a STD. You should ask your partner if he/she has a STD, has been exposed to one, orhas physical symptoms that could mean a STD. You should not have sex with anyone that has signs of a STD such as sores, rashes, or discharge from the genital area. It is also possible that your partner may have a STD without having any symptoms and could pass it on to you. If you think your partner could have a STD, even if he/she doesn't show symptoms, have him/her get tested before the two ofyou have sex. You should also get yearly tests for STD’s, even if you have no symptoms. You need to make sure that you use a new latex condom correctly every time you have oral, anal, or vaginal sex. If you are allergic to latex, use a polyurethane male or female condom. Condoms are your best and only protection against STD’s, although they still aren't 100% effective. Along with a condom, youshould also use a water-based lubricant to keep the condom from breaking. Never use lubricants that contain oil or fat, like petroleum jelly or cooking oil. These products weaken latex and can cause the condom to break. Some STDs can't be cured, so you should always practice safer sex.
