The site has many detailed lesson materials for teaching the English language. Navigation is easy as the content or main bodyis divided according to the student’s level. The layout is rather simple, without extra stuff, which makes sense since the target audience seems to be ESL teachers, students and language enthusiastswho don’t need the extra attention-grabbing graphics and eye candy.
There are lessons plans for speaking, listening, vocabulary, reading and grammar; additionally, there are numerous culturalcategories, such as slang & idioms, small talk and role-plays which help immensely when trying to help people reach fluency. The site offers a large quantity of PDFs and audio files which makes downloadingand using the materials an easy process.
The only drawback I can think of is the apparent state of oblivion in which the site currently is, the author neglects to update regularly some of the site’sfeatures, as such, there a few broken and outdated links.

The blog offers and excellent resource for studying grammar in a fun and easy manner usingmovie segments. It’s maintained and updated regularly by a Brazilian teacher named Claudio Azevedo, who designed the site as most blogs, with the latest posts on top and the older ones at the bottom.Each post contains a small comment about the movie followed by the embedded video of the segment and the worksheet designed as way of reinforcing each grammar subject. Not only is this blog an usefultool for learning, it’s also innovative in some ways since most teachers use movies for many different purposes, mostly to develop listening and pronunciation skills, but no one ever thought aboutusing movies to make grammar lessons more attractive, which could awake new-found interest and all sorts of creative results in students.
