Joseph Kony

Thesis: Joseph Kony the leader of the LRA is one of the most dangerous persons in the world. He has spread rapes, multilaions, abductions, and manyother terrible crimes through out all Africa for more than 26 year. The purpose of this research paper is to explain who is Joseph Kony, and what he does, what is the Invisible Children movement and who founded it, anf why they decided to start this movement.

Audience: Since the idea is to more Joseph Kony famous the tarjet audience is the entire world. Kony`s topic should be known by peopkw ofall ages including 5 years old children.

Objections: Not many objections could arise about this topic, but there are a few. For instance, the U.S.A Goverment at the beginning said that they could not do anything about it because it was not a topic of legal or financial concern to the U.S.A. Also, another objections that may come one from people who think that there are more important problems intheir countries for being slve to be worried about external problems.

Joseph Kony one of the most dangerous person in the world.(Kony2012) His name is unknown by more than half of the population, and as well as the pursuit of a cure for cancer Knoy and his story deserve to be known all around the world. Kony and his rebelion have spread murders, rapes, abductions, and many other terrible crimesthrough all Africa for more tha 26 years where the fear has become all childreans first meal. In order to stop him his name should become famous, and the way to do that is using media to globalize his name along with his duty army. The good news are that this movement; “The Invisible Children” (young army organization from United State) has already achieved. Through the course of this reasearchpaper I am going to explain who is Joseph Kony and what he does, who is the person who started this movement to stop him, and finaly what is this movement about and why they decided to start it.

Joseph Kony is the leader of the LRA which stands for Lord`s Resistance Army(125p) The objective of the LRA and Joseph Kony is to create a theocratic government in the country of African based on theChristian bible and its orders (Kony 2012) This group began in 1987, and it is estimated that this group is about more than 30 thousand childrens. This army kidnaps young children and forces them to kill their own parents. They call this the “initiation stage” Most of the abductions or recruitments are in Acholi, Lango, Teso and the southwestern region of the Nile, but the village is located whereJoseph Kony and the LRA is to the east of Gulu, in the north of Uganda(Acosta). Also, females are forced to become sex slaves and they violate them brutally (127p). And, if Kony considered one of the females attrative makes his wife or wife of some of the commanders form the LRA. The males to become child soldiers they give to them all types of weapons such as guns, grenades and panga (kind ofweapon from Africa). The LRA is abusing the children up to the point that they are too weak, to continue fighting against the Ugandan military; when they arrive at that point the LRA just let die or being murdered. This organization has being chasing Uganda´s children for more than 26 years and this is not just a few childrens is been over 30 thousnd of them that I mentioned before .To finish, Konymutilates those children that have tried to escape. He cuts their lips, ears, nose, and tongue in order for them to do not be able to speak and reveal where is he hiding, and as if is not enough, Kony makes them eat these mutilated parts (Kony2012). Reporters say that nowadays he is one of the most wanted men in the world. To be precise is the number one in the whole planet.
