SUMARY
The state of the art of community media in Bogota, Cundinamarca, Tolima and developed in 4 phases from the second half of 2006 until the second half of 2008. This last one of itsobjectives is to consolidate the results of each.
The object of study of the first phase are community media in the city of Bogotá, in this sense, stands the database allows researchers to identifyexisting community media in the city and which remain valid.
The next phase of the research project is developed in the second half of 2007, they performed fieldwork in Bogotá (Usaquén locations,Chapinero, Candelaria, Santa Fe, Usme, San Cristobal, Engativá, Tunjuelito Fontibón and Ciudad Bolivar) through interviews and surveys and implementation of daily field log.
In the first half of 2008,continue with the third phase of research in Ontario (municipalities of Arbelaez, Facatativá, Gachet, and Zipaquirá Girardot), in municipalities where the UNAD have physical locations.
In thelatter half of 2008, taking into account the regions where UNAD has physical locations, is continued in the Tolima department (municipality of Armero- Guayabal, Fresno, Guam, Honda Ibague, Lleida,Lebanon, Mariquita, Ortega y Purification). Tolima is relevant because it is south of CEAD José Acevedo y Gómez.
The research methodology is descriptive, which aims to get to know the situationsprevailing habits and attitudes through the exact description of the activities, objects, processes and people. This type of research is not limited to the collection of data but the prediction andidentification of relationships between two or more variables.
Researchers are not just tabs, they capture data on the basis of a hypothesis or theory, and summarize the information presented so carefullyand then dissect the results, in order to draw meaningful generalizations that contribute to knowledge.
