INTRODUCCCIÓN

In this first unit will cover subjects of great importance for bigger apprenticeship. Subjects what we will serve in the field labor. Ofcourse especially in the business ofhotel management.
This investigation cover for example the subject of past verb to be, in this we mention courses of the past, and in 3° person to use were, and in the others is was.
Others subjects to board are the simple past, the use of used to, the frecuency adverbs, indirect questions, the use of enough, of too, as…as, muchc, many and almost. And finally the use of wish.
One might tomention what alls the subjects to possess the affirmative, negative and interrogative form.

UNIDAD 1. RECUERDOS Y DESEOS

* PASADO DEL VERBO TO BE
El verbo "to be" se usa como verbo auxiliar en las frases verbales. El tiempo presente progresivo se forma usando "am being", "is being", o "are being" con el participio pasivo de un verbo. Por ejemplo:
* The floor isbeing repaired. (El piso se está reparando.)
Pasado de To Be (ser, estar)
El verbo "To be" en pasado se traduce normalmente como:
I was= Yo era/ Yo estaba
Para la primera y tercera persona es was, para todas las demás es were.
I was (fui, estuve); you were (fuiste, estuviste); he, she, it was (fue, estuvo);
we were (fuimos, estuvimos); you were (fuisteis, estuvisteis);
they were (fueron,estuvieron).
El tiempo pasado progresivo se forma usando "was being" o "were being" con el participio pasivo de un verbo. Ejemplos:

* The suspect was being questioned by the police. (El sospechoso estaba siendo interrogado por la policía.)
* I was in London last year.
Estuve en Londres el año pasado.
* Sarah and Tom were in London last year.
Sarah y Tom estuvieron en Londres elaño pasado.

Cuando se usa con There, significa Había
There was a house | Había una casa |
There were two houses | Había dos casas |

* PASADO SIMPLE
El pasado simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para hablar sobre una acción o algo que tuvo lugar en el pasado y que ya no tiene relación algunacon el presente.
Ejemplo:
Verbos regulares:
En el caso de los verbos regulares, el pasado simple se forma tomando el propio verbo y agregando "ed", o "d" si termina en vocal. Si termina en "y", se cambia por "ied".
* We played tennis for two hours.
* Jugamos tenis por dos horas.
* She arrived late.
Llegó tarde.
* You studied a lot.
Estudiaste mucho.
* I studied...
