Standard Class Descriptions
2301A/D Load Sharing and Speed Controls
3 days, $1270 per person Learn the operation, installation and adjustments of the 2301A (Analog) and the 2301D (Digital) Load Sharing Speed Control. Understand how the 2301A and 2301D control, actuators, and their associated accessories allow their engines to operate together, either on oroff the infinite bus (utility). Hardware and software configuration/ monitoring will be explained. Both controls will be connected to a closed loop test set.
DSLC Control and MSLC Control
3 days, $1270 per person This class covers the basics of Woodward power management, DSLC and MSLC theory, installation, programming, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting with the help of variousmodels and simulators. The hands-on training includes programming, adjustments, and troubleshooting techniques on the DSLC and MSLC.
723 PLUS and DSLC / MSLC Controls
Peak 150 Digital Steam Turbine Control
2 days, $850 per person Application, installation, and operation of the Woodward Peak® 150 digital steam turbine controls used in mechanical drive applications. Hardware andsoftware will be explained, programming demonstrated and the control connected to a closed loop test set. Obtain an understanding of how the Peak® 150 control, actuators, and their associated accessories allow their turbines to operate together, either on or off the infinite bus (utility) or operating a mechanical drive.
3 days, $1270 per person Learn about the programmable digital Woodward723PLUS controls used with the DSLC™ and MSLC controls in power generation applications. The course covers theory, installation, programming, operation and maintenance of the controls with the help of various models and simulators. Programming, monitoring, adjustment and troubleshooting will be demonstrated using Watch Window and Held-Hand Programmer. The controls will be operated using a closed looptest set to simulate an engine.
723 PLUS Digital Speed Control
3 days, $1270 per person Woodward 723PLUS control is a configurable control for prime movers. Hardware and software will be covered, including programming, monitoring, and adjustment of the control will be demonstrated using Watch Window and Hand-Held Programmer. The control will be operated using a closed loop test set tosimulate an engine.
EGCP-3 Power Management Generator Control
2 days, $850 per person Introduction to the basics of power management and the Woodward EGCP-3. The class covers the theory, installation, programming, operation and maintenance of the EGCP-3 with the help of various models, simulators. Programming, adjustments and troubleshooting techniques will be covered.
