Chapter 4
Clarissa stands outside the famous actor’s trailer.. twogirls, “Sun and Moon” were in front of her… They were discussing if the actor was Meryl Streep or Susan Serandon
The author discusses that when these two young girls die, they will probably be forgotten, but the famous actor will still live.
Clarissa leaves to Richard’s apartment
On the way, she stopped on the corner where she and Richard first kissed… or argued (its not clear)

Richard talks about time (2 presents happening at once.. young Richard and clarissa and middle aged Richard and clarissa)wanted to write about his life with clarissa and his possible life with clarissa
when she leaves Richard kisses her on the cheek
Chapter 5
Virginia, the author, says that clarissa would probably die, or take her own life
she suffers from headaches.. doesn’t like to do anything but writing
she’s not very healthy. She decides to stop for the day because of her headaches.

Mrs. Brown is making a cake with Richie

Mrs. Brown says she will be happy caring for he husband, her son, and she will want the new child (trying to be the perfect wife)
Chapter 7
Mrs. Woolf is walking planning clarissa’s suicide and decides that oneof clarissa’s loves will be a girl. Clarissa will scandalize her Aunts by cutting the heads out of flowers, just like Virginia’s sister Vanessa used to do. Wants to return to the city.
Nelly- servant… Mrs. Woolf doesn’t manage servants very well so she decides to make clarissa good with servants.
Chapter 8
Clarissa sees Sally… they kiss on the lips… Sally’s having lunch with Oliver St.Ives… Richard will not accompany clarissa into old age because of his illness
Lives with Sally.. wants to have a home of her own.
Studied at Columbia. Troublesome when young (smoking)
