Simple PresentThe Simple Present is used to express the idea that an action is repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens. |

The structure is: Sub + verb in present + complement I , you, we, they take english classes from monday to friday.She, he, it goes to the gym every weekend |
Negative.The structure is: sub + aux (do/does) + not + verb in simple form + complement. I, you, we, they do not pick on younger children. She, he, it does not wake up early. |
Interrogative:Theestructure is: Aux(do/does) + sub + verb in simple form + complement.the auxiliar could be in negative way Do/don’t i, you, we, they play basketball well? Does/doesn’t he, she, it watch movies at night? |
Present continuous The present continuous is used to talk about something that ishappening at the moment in which we speak. Time expressions such as "now", "right now" and "at the moment" indicate it. It is also used to talk about plans in the future.*if it is used for future, you´ve got to use a time expression for future. |
Affirmative: Sub + aux (to be) + verb in gerund(+ing) + complement I am doingmy homework She, he, it is washing the dishes You, we, they are having on a sweater. |
Negative: sub + aux (to be) + not + verb in gerund(+ing) + complement I am not sleeping nowShe, he, it is not putting away her/his/its books. You, we, they are not playing the guitar now. |
Interrogative: aux(to be) + sub + verb in gerund (+ing) + complement Am i Reading a magazine?Is she, he, it leaving from here tomorrow? Are you, we, they playing video games? |
Present perfect We use it to talk about something that happened at an unknown, unspecific or indefinite time in the past. |
Affirmative: sub + aux(have/has) + VPPI, you, we, they, have been to europe. He, she, it has taken care of a dog |
Negative: sub + aux(have/has) + not + VPP I, you, we, they have not eaten chinese foodHe, she, it has not thrown away the thrash. |
Interrogative: aux(have/has) + sub + VPP Have i, you, we, they drunk alcohol? Has he, it, she, called his/its/her momup? |
Present perfect continuous.We use it to talk about an action that started in the past and continues in the present |
