Sci – Fy Story:
“Time Travel to 2212”

It was Saturday at eight p.m. and the planetary was lagging alone. This place had been full of people who went to learn about stars, planets, asteroids, comets, galaxies, and many others. They were surprised because of their majesty and mystery. At that time was so silent that I could hear my heart beating furiously. I had fear that the security guardswill see us because we were inside the planetary when it had already been closed, and we will have problems if they found us. William, my cousin of my same age, was with me hiding behind a huge solar system in the section of “FUTURE”, where the route had finished. This one was the most interesting one, and the best ever I had visited. I could feel William was tense and nervous as I, but we relaxedwhen we didn´t heard more steps some time later; fortunately for us the guards went away.
At last we could leave our hiding. We looked around the huge room. I couldn´t believe my eyes when I saw all the things that were there. We observed strange future cars that could fly, robots that made millions of things. Also capsules that as was described next to them could transport people where ever theywished, and others very interesting. But what caught our attention was a metal, smooth sphere full of tiny lights. And which seemed to be hollow. While William began to look at it carefully, I read what the nameplate of that huge thing that came out of the blue said: “Time Travel Machine”. I was amazed, but what made my heart sank was what William discovered. In the meantime I saw how it wasnamed, he found out how to enter it. He pressed some of the tiny lights and it opened. Inside it was full of screens, buttons, and others. It had two seats, so we sat down. Me at the right and William at the left. I pressed a button and suddenly, no matter how, everything lighted up. Security belts came out. The sphere closed and without warning or advice on the screens appeared numbers of years movinglike that machines that have rollers in the casinos. Soon they stopped moving and made the number 2212. The next thing I knew was that as at the speed of light, we began to roll like in a huge tube being up and down similarly to a rollercoaster. A few seconds later it had stopped.
We were white as sheets when everything was over and the insides of the Time Machine said: “You have traveled intime to the year 2212. You can explore all the places you want and do whatever you like, but remember two things: First do not tell anyone you have traveled in time, and second, the most important one, you have 12 hours to do this, if within that time you have not returned to this Time Travel Machine, you will never going to be in the present again”. After this the sphere opened, and to our surpriseeverything at the planetary came true: The flying cars, the robots on the streets, the capsules to transport people, and other things like buildings with strange forms and people with rare and extravagant clothes and hairstyle impressed me. We went out of the machine and it disappeared before we noticed.

The next ten hours were only fun. We found a girl of our age called Clarine who guided usto the best places I had seen ever. In the list were: The Park of Flying Cars where we could fly one without being eighteen. The Amusement park where we hopped on the newest attraction called “Adrenaline” that was a rollercoaster with effects in 20D. The Interactive Park where attractions like “Speed”, which we liked the most, were you traveled at the speed of light in all the universe, were thebest ones. All this things made us forget that only in two hours we had to find the Time Machine and go back to the present. When I remembered I was getting on my nerves, and when I told William he got also like me.
