STEP ONE:What do I see? 1. Size? 2. Medium? 3. Subject, Object and Details? 4. The elements of art used? 5. Photographyelements (depth of field; scale)? | 1. about 3 ½ feet tall 2. Orgininaly wax, later made in bronze with authentic hair and cottonclothes 3. Young girl dancer with eyes closed and straight face, displaying her emotion. Her skirt is fluffy and sticks out, like manydance outfits. 4. Form, shape, line 5. Some picturesdisplay scale while others hide size of the sculpture. Depth of feild is not a main feature of the image, due to the fact that it was taken through a glass case of the sculputure itself, rather than fordisplaying artist talent. |

Elements of art/design; and, b. principles of art/design used/presentin this art Work/photography. | 1. a – Various angles display lines portraying movement of the dancer. Her rugged shape creates texture, bringing the already realisticstature to life. Her three dimensional shape is an obvious trait, typical and necessary for sculptures and statues to be what they are.b - movement, proportion – both display the realistic features on the girl (both in photo and figure) |
