In the following plan, we present our product idea, CARAMBOLA JELLY. Knowledge, what is it, its characteristics, presentation, and the marketing campaign.
Carambola Jelly is a new product that will come to revolutionize the marketfor jellies, carambola Jelly is the product that knows the most demanding tastes of consumers who are passionate about the jelly.
Carambola Jelly is characterized by one hundred percent natural product does not contain chemical preservatives, is a product made in El Salvador, the manufacturing process does not pollute the environment.
This product will have three presentations: 16 ozbottle, 6 oz glass container and bags of 6 oz transparent
This product will be new on the market, which is why we need a marketing campaign, aimed to present our product to most people in the country, that’s why we use the mass media: Television, Radio, Press and others.
Create a new product to satisfy the consumer expectations about jellies in the market,offering new ways of consumption, using a high-level campaign.
• To know the steps that will guide us to develop a new product.
• To provide to the consumers with a new brand of Jelly.
• To undertake an advertising campaign, this allows us to enter to the domestic market a new product.
• To ensure that the product will be known, using mass media suchas Newspapers, Radio and TV.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT
The name of our new product is CARAMBOLA JELLY and this is a delicious jelly flavored with carambola, which you can enjoy in your breakfast, on the ride, a picnic or wherever you like.
Its color is yellow in the light of carambola, as this is yellow, it's a thought for those who love sweet, as to thepresentations of carambola jelly, this presentation will have the first three will be in transparent glass bottles of 16 ounces with dimensions of 17 cm x 10 cm wide, the second will be in a circular containing 6 ounces with dimensions of 9 cm in diameter and the third will be a presentation economical containing 6 ounces, this will be in transparent plastic bag 10 cm x 17 cm .
The color of the packetswill be transparent, clear, because we have to show the delicious jam, and so give an opposite impression reflecting the logo, slogan, manufacturing date, expiry date and ingredients that are fortified with vitamins and carbohydrates natural.
LABEL TO APPEAR ON THE FRONT OF THE CONTAINER
The label shown in our presentation, CARAMBOLA JELLY a small with sunglasses, and uses a gora green, thissurfing in a wave of rich flavor, this logo differentiates us from other products that may be similar.
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT AND PROCESS
Jellies are a mixture of fruit and sugar that are in the form of semi solid. The mixture is prepared hot with the addition of pectin and in some cases; acid is added to adjust pH at which the gel is formed. Gels can be produced from a several variety offruits, but are preferred those that present a good balance between sugar and acidity, such as Apple, Peach, Pineapple, Mango, Strawberry, Blackberries, and the main Carambola between others.
The process of developing Carambola jelly consists in obtaining the pulp of the fruit and subsequent evaporation of water to concentrate the solids with the help of sugar. It is not necessary to add pectinbecause it will be taken of the natural pectin that Carambola contains.
Note that there are different formulations for jellies. But there are accepting three grades of jellies, depending of the amount of fruit and sugar that they contain. The first contains 50% and 50%, the second 45% and 55% and third 35% and 65%. (Fruit and Sugar).
