My Most Exciting Experience
It all happened on still my last semester in high school. I was as always thinking about all ofmy hopes and dream for the future. My lifelong dream of joining the U.S. Air force was still high on my mind. But there are some things in life that you can’t control, that is the hand of God in oureveryday thoughts and duties. An unexpected outcome was just primed to happen just when my friend came to me with an important paper.
He came to me with some Internet links for applying for the U.S.Navy Seals. He told me, “I’m going to apply for the ASVAB test, you should take it too.” I answered, “I want to go to the Air Force but, I’ll see what I’ll do.” After that, the rest of the day I wasthinking and thinking about what I would do. I wanted to be in the Air Force, but the opportunity of measuring myself on the ASVAB test to see if I was capable enough for the NAVY was just asthrilling. So I got home, still thinking about it. I turned on my computer and began searching info about the U.S. Navy Seals. I said to myself, “I know I could really do this!” So I started to motivatemyself, so at the end I finally took the ASVAB. The next few days I was a little bit nervous, wondering what had been my score for the test. After all the suspense I finally received an E-Mail. I passed theexam with a 68% score. I was accepted for the U.S. Navy Seals, I felt like crying for a moment, but I hold up and felt this big joy inside of me. It was the best message I had received in my wholelife, maybe I didn’t get to the Air Force but at least I will be in the military service.
It was just amazing to be able to go out with a smile knowing you took one of the best decisions on your life. Many people are down on military service, especially wives, mothers, fathers, and other family members as well, but it’s an exciting experience. I still feel excited for this, and I will be headed...
