EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In the currently world is common toperceive that the markets are competitive and more difficult to break in, due to the competition and the innovation. This is not a secret for us, according to this we try to find products and services, that allow enter in markets and commercialize in them. First, we know that is desirable to create the necessity in the customer and after give them the product or service properly.
The consumption oftropical fruits, fresh or processed, has grown in recent years in many countries and especially in developed countries. Consumption growth is due to the geographical expansion of products through an increasing trade fast, safe and economical, to the increase of tourism and the advancement of techniques for processing and packing of fruits (Llanos, 1998). We have identified the appeal and marketpotential for tropical fruits in developed countries as Europeans has won the attention of producer countries for that reason the production, distribution and marketing of tropical fruits generate important sources of jobs.
Colombia is a country with the best climate conditions for the production of tropical fruits and this make possible that today we are working on the formation of organizations,improvement of production techniques, technology, media and infrastructure in order to increase their levels of production, present a product of good quality and competitive European market.
This research have let us to understand the needs of the consumers and find a great potential market, like Spain, according to the new consumer trends, where time is limited and the dedicated to thepreparation of food is becoming less, our tropical fruit will be a good complement nutritious and easy to prepare.
The research is needed for giving the right product in the right place or market, and according to that, we want to introduce a typical product to a Spain´s market, is a mango jam named TROPICAL MANGO JAM and our company COLOMBIA TROPICAL FRUITS. In this paper we will explain how we do that,taking into account the marketing basis and implementing new strategies for this particular market.

The company was born due to the idea of a group of entrepreneurs, whose aims to be very useful to the development of the city and its habitants, though the implementation of a productive idea, products that they can sell in the international marketing and contribute for the benefit of everyone linked to the company:suppliers, employees and clients.
