Gasification can convert biomass into electricity and products, such as ethanol, methanol, fuels, fertilizers, and chemicals. usually contains a high percentage of moisture (along with carbohydratesand sugars). The presence of high levels of moisture in the biomass reduces the temperature inside the gasifier, which then reduces the efficiency of the gasifier. Therefore, many biomass gasificationtechnologies require that the biomass be dried to reduce the moisture content prior to feeding into the gasifier. This is why we first leaved the materials down the sun. This materials need a smallmeasure to fit in our can.


As you read the procedure is very easy but also very dangerous. We first did our experiment using all the biomass materials together, we waited and notice that isobviously faster to produce the gas. 8 minutes for the gas to start going out more frequently, we turn on the gas with a match to cook the egg so we prove their is fire produce by the gas. To cook the egg1 min : 15 secs. Worked very good, and it was a hot day and the stove was at high temperature, with 2 pounds of the materials.


Now we are using the materials separately, startling with corn andthe kernel which we measured 2 pounds, we put it inside the can. We waited for it 26,28,25,26 minutes for it to produced the gas which is 26 minutes with 25 seconds approximately for it to burn, andthen cook the egg in an average of 2 minutes 23 seconds.


Then we used sand dust and little pieces of wood waste, this time took in our trials 18, 20,21,18 minutes which it’s average is 19 minutes25 seconds. Cooking the egg, took 1 minute 25 seconds. Less then the corn kernel, we hoped less then the other materials because it produces more combustion. It’s gas is efficient because the egg wascooked in an average like a normal stove.

At last, the lemon leaves which took many time, around an hour to produce the gas itself. The trials were 48, 45, 50, 42 minutes with an average of 46...
