Resumen
En este trabajo se busca reflexionar acerca del concepto de maternidad y su significado para la realización de la mujer, a partirde la mirada teológica y bioética. Para esto
se abordarán tres momentos: el primero, la narración bíblica de la historia de Sara y la
mujer Sunamita; el segundo, las técnicas de reproducción asistidahumana (TRAH), y
el tercero, la pregunta por el olvido del cuerpo desde los presupuestos bioéticos interpretados desde los estereotipos sociales y culturales que lo enmarcan.

Abstract
This text reflects on the concept of maternity and its meaning for the fulfillment ofwomen´s lives, from the theological and the bioethical points of view. In order to do
this, three moments are approached: The first one is the biblical narration of Sara and
the Shunammite woman´s story.The second is about the assisted human reproduction
techniques and the third is a question about why the body is forgotten in the assumptions interpreted from the social and cultural stereotypes...
