OGRAPHY:
All start in 1976 in the city of Dublin in Irleand when Larry Mullen create a band in the school integrated for Paul Hewson (bono), Dave Evans (the egde), Dick Evans and Adam Clayton. Atfirst the band name was feedback but when Dick goes to other band, they change the name to U2.
For a time we play in pubs until he wins the contest: Guiness and Harp and get a recording contract. From there the band became known and then famous doing tours around the world.

THE JOSHUA TREE:

This album was published in 1987, was the best disc of the band and could sell more than fiftymillion copies.
The name of this album refers to a tree in the “DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PRAK” where the photos of the album were taken.

The album includes the songs:
1. Where the Streets Have No Name2. I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For
3. With or Without You
4. Bullet the Blue Sky
5. Running to Stand Still
6. Red Hill Mining Town
7. In God’s Country
8. Trip Through Your Wires
9.One Tree Hill
10. Exit
11. Mothers of the Disappeared

The letters of the songs have a lot of content and messages that show the group ideology, for example in “BULLET THE BLUE SKY” and “GOD’SCOUNTRY” they show what they think of North America talking about social injustice, terrorism and drugs.
“ONE TREE HILL” is dedicated for Greg Carol, friend of Bono that dyed before of thepublication of the disc. Also in this song speak about Victor Jara referring to his death in the military government in Chile..
For me the best song of this album is “WITH OR WITHOUT YOU”, the theme of thesong some says that is for break a relationship but for other believed that is a song about a conversation with god.

OPINION:
This album is considered the best of U2 I think that is because it is avery complete album that without having so many hits, have very good songs that make it a strong album.
But the band still making the same mistakes as previous albums: For example the exaggerated...
