En los últimos años, diferentes disciplinas del conocimiento científico –social, han mostrado cierto interés por los estudios culturales. Disciplinas tales como la antropología, la sociología, la historia, la psicología, entre otras, hanintentado dar explicaciones y hacer interpretaciones de los distintos comportamientos del colectivo social a partir de lo cultural, como elemento fundamental en la construcción de la sociedad.
