Over the years we have seen a drastic change in our country. That change is mainly characterized by the lack of security and the increase in violence. Also a big issue is the situation ofmilitarization in Mexico; it only brought more problems than solutions to the country. The Center for Development Research, AC states that Mexico is at number 16 out of 115 nations with the highest rate ofviolence and crime worldwide, with 10.60 homicides per 100,000 populations.

In this essay will explain the violence in Mexico that has been quickly increasing, According to the indicator, whichmeasures the number of murders, executions, car thefts and other crimes committed in Mexico in 2008, the number of complaints received rose 5.7% over 2007, increasing from 1,622 million to 1,714 complaintsmillion, for example in previous years, Mexico was a country that was safe enough for citizens to feel free to walk at streets and even enjoy a walk by night among other things. But today the realityis different, with the absence of security the country has been lived, Mexico became a country with citizens terrified and helpless against the violence that attacks every day.

The fight againstviolence is not an easy fight. That is why it is necessary to push the values like liberty, respect, tolerance, effort, justice and honesty that will end with this violence, this means that the Mexicangovernment needs to invest more time and money in education for the citizens, to allow future generations to know the seriousness of the matter in terms of violence and the benefits of a safe country.The study suggests that the most serious problems in the nation are "the lack of a comprehensive and to give emphasis to prevention, lack of professionalization of the police and the officialsresponsible for procuring and administering justice, a trial without transparency with discretion and corruption and impunity that reaches a very high at 98.3%.
