"Fly over the swamp" is a novel of personal growth, which tells the sad and uplifting story of three teenagers(Zahid, Lisbeth and Alma) hit by the harsh reality that they lived in each particular moment. Each with different stories but similar sources emerge:loneliness, low self-esteem, family problems, lack of appreciation, inner emptiness, extreme sadness, etc. But in the end find their horizon, overcome difficulties andflying over the swamp.
Zahid's odyssey starts with the lack of approval, from which nothing goes wrong, you want to succeed and only meets the grotesquemockery from troublemakers, that operate in the same circle in which he finds himself. It also adds a little family problem, his father's alcoholism. All thisexplodes and takes refuge in the mire of misery, meanness, drugs, crime, associated with previously criticized him as a means of evading the ridicule andhumiliation.
Zahid is experiencing this lack of meaning and the existential void that demands a return to the source, to reunite with their fondest hopes and dreams.This is where is the father of his best friend Joel, which gives the first lessons help after leaving prison. This meeting does reflect on what I was doing andwhat I was not doing for their lack of confidence in itself. So many mistakes that not only humiliated but reduced it to a minimum and did despicable beforehimself.
From his circumstances and position and reorganize Zahid wanted to help his family, starting with the same. It uses the methods needed to achieve it.
