The Anti-Protest law

The anti-protest called ´´Hinzpeter law´´ is one of the most controversial laws in it form to maintain order both public and private.Generating a war of ideas by different political and social sectors, many call this law as a capping of mouth, a censor who claim, while the principal propeller of the law, theGovernment speaks about our peace and protection.

On the one hand the Government speaks of the benefits that brings this law, as first speaks of security and publictranquility since the law punishes those who disturb order public with serious sanction, ranging from 341 days up to 3 years in prison, with that the estate protectpublic and private property that is affected by multiple protests how always end in destroys.

Until of that, are several negative repercussions for citizens since referto a censure against the masses by the Government since prohibits paralyze or disrupt any public service by eliminating the ´´Tomas express’’ that mean a taken placethis is a form of protest, a valid method how use public opinion. Another point is ´´invading or occupying public or private places´´ eliminating possibilities of takethe paces or stoppages in schools, universities, etc. And another of the points listed in the law is ´´preventing or impede access by the streets or bridges bothpedestrians and vehicles´´, eliminating the possibility of marches.

In my opinion this law is a vote of silence to the multiple social movements in Chile or as a way ofgoverning without the sound of the Chilean people since practically prohibited forms of free expression of the people.
