Children sexual abuse.

Good morning everybody my name is Francisca and I’m a UNICEF ambassador, I want you to know that UNICEF is an agency devoted to the welfare of children.

 introduce youis the children sexual abuse, this happens a lot along the ENTIRE WORLD but specifically im going to talk about what is happening in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. millions of children worldwide from allsocio-economic backgrounds, across all ages, religions and cultures suffer violence, exploitation and abuse every day. -Sexual violence against children is a gross violation of children’s rights. Yet itis a global reality across all countries and social groups.- It takes the form of sexual abuse, harassment, rape or sexual exploitation in prostitution or pornography. -It can happen in homes,institutions, schools, workplaces, in travel and tourism facilities, within communities. Increasingly, the internet and mobile phones also put children at risk of sexual violence.

-. More Millions arelikely exploited in prostitution or pornography each year, most of the times lured or forced into these situations through false promises and limited knowledge about the risks.
-Yet the true magnitudeof sexual violence is hidden because of its sensitive and illegal nature. Most children and families do not report cases of abuse and exploitation because of stigma, fear, and lack of trust in theauthorities,
-WHAT IM GOING TO DO let the world know about this is to give a message of strong, a message of courage for the people who is being abused sexually or is a sex slave or a sex worker, theyhave to be strong to confess and testify this crime to the authorities, if they do this, the problem could be hard less.
