RESUMEN

El presente texto se ha elaborado con el objetivo de servir de guía en la aplicación de las normas internacionales de información financiera para las pequeñas y medianas entidades.

Para facilitar el estudio y la aplicación de las NORMAS INTERNACIONALES DE INFORMACION FINANCIERA (NIIF) PARA LAS PEQUEÑAS Y MEDIANAS ENTIDADES (PYMES): PROPIEDAD, PLANTA Y EQUIPO, se procedió a clasificarel presente tema de la siguiente manera: una parte introductoria que abarcan puntos trascendentales para la comprensión del tema, y una segunda parte que consiste en el desarrollo de su aplicación basados en el reconocimiento, adquisición, permanencia y disponibilidad de la “Propiedad, planta y equipo”, demostrando en cada punto los cambios significativos que trae la nueva normativa como laestimación de la vida útil sobre su efectiva utilización, la asignación justa de depreciación asignado por el trabajo efectivo, importancia de la correcta asignación de valor residual, deterioro de activos.

El tema a analizar es de gran importancia debido a que la Propiedad, Planta y Equipo constituyen un rubro significativo dentro de la composición financiera de las empresas, por lo que su manejoserá esencial para determinar estados financieros a términos razonables.

ABSTRACT

This text has been developed in order to help guide the implementation of international financial reporting standards for small and medium entities.

To facilitate the studyand application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for small and medium entities (SMEs): PROPERTY, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT, were classified this item as follows: an introductory section covering transcendental point for understanding the subject, and a second part which is the development of its application based on the recognition, acquisition, retention and availability of the"Property, plant and equipment", showing at each point of the significant changes it brings new legislation such as the estimated useful life on their effective use, the fair allocation of depreciation allocated for the actual work, the importance of proper allocation of residual value impairment.

The issue to be analyzed is of great importance because the property, plant and equipment are asignificant item in the financial composition of firms, so their management is essential for assessing financial statements to reasonable terms.
